Richardson, TX
Hardware Engineer (Contract Assignment)
- BSEE degree, MS Preferred with 5+ years experience in high speed designs of board assembly (10+ Gbps required).
- Prior success in a fast paced, team oriented design environment plus HW/SW/FPGA debugging and lab verification techniques.
- Demonstrated knowledge of EDA tools (Mentor Graphics toolset) and simulation. Familiar with electrical and physical design constraint, creation and verification of library components.
- Proficient in boards and system designs with NEBS level 3 compliance.
Mechanical Engineer (Contract Assignment)
- BSME degree, MS Preferred with 5+ years experience in high speed designs of product (10+ Gbps required).
- Proven track record in fast paced, team oriented design environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge with EDA tools (Pro-Engineering, ProIntralink) and simulation. Familiar with low cost metal fabrication process.
- Proficient skill set for board and system designs with NEBS level 3 compliance (GR-1089/GR-63) and Safety standards (UL/cUL/IEC 60950).
- Detailed knowledge of 10+ Gbps designs.
Senior HW/FPGA Engineer II
- BSEE or related degree (EE or CS), MS Preferred with 5+ years experience in high speed (100MHz – 200MHz+) digital design development for ASIC/FPGA
- Experienced in a fast pace, team oriented design environment plus HW/SW/FPGA debugging and lab verification techniques
- Demonstrated knowledge of EDA tools (Synplicity, Modelsim, ISE, Quartus II) , test bench development and synthesis/simulation automation
- Detailed knowledge of SDH/SONET/Carrier Ethernet specifications
Senior Software Engineer II
- B.S. Computer Science or related degree. M.S. in Computer Science preferred.
- C/C++ and OO design experience required. Experience with vxWorks RTOS and WindRiver tools.
- Experience in full life cycle development of carrier class telecom products and familiarity with industry standards.
- SONET and/or Ethernet experience preferred
Central / West Region
(Successful candidates may live in the Texas, Kansas City or Denver areas.)
Sales Director
- Responsible for all sales activities for the central/western regions in the US and Canada
- Must develop a comprehensive understanding of the Overture Networks line and be able to position solutions within the carrier market.
- Previously demonstrated success in the telecom/MSO space and a willingness to do the necessary travel to meet with customers.
- 5+ years success in Carrier space with proven track record of delivering revenue results in that market
- Commission position with a large portion of the compensation based on revenue attainment.
Research Triangle Park, NC
Senior Hardware Engineer I
- Will design new products and support existing products.
- Experience with high speed data communications, fast memory, and Cadence Concept/Allegro tools.
- Experience with Xilinx and/or Altera, along with complex high speed designs.
- Knowledge of change control including experience with systems such as Arena or Agile.
Senior System Test Engineer II
- Will develop and execute manual and scripted test cases.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, TDM, SONET, SDH, and Frame Relay
- Experience with Ixia and Spirent
- Tcl programming and Perl scripting
TAC Engineer
- Provides phone-based technical support for Ethernet service delivery products
- Creates and updates cases, remotely assists customers in product turn-up, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Entry-Level knowledge of the OSI model and Layer 1-3 LAN/WAN networking concepts, including Ethernet, IP routing, and sub-netting
- Success requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, a sense of responsibility, organized work habits, and resourcefulness
- BS degree, technical networking certifications, or previous technical support experience preferred
