The Overture 1400 is a modular gigabit Carrier Ethernet edge platform that enables ubiquitous Ethernet services from 1Mbps to 1Gbps over both native Ethernet and the existing TDM infrastructure. In its base configuration, the Overture 1400 provides a sophisticated native optical Carrier Ethernet 2.0 demarcation solution with six tri-speed Ethernet interfaces in a rugged temperature hardened platform. When native optical Ethernet is not available at the customer or mobile cell site location, the flexible network interface slot may be populated with SONET/SDH and PDH (DS3/E3, DS1, E1) modules to deliver identical services over existing networks. The Overture 1400 provides a complete toolkit for service differentiation and performance assurance along with the operational savings that comes from a single flexible platform.

The Carrier Ethernet World Congress is a recognized leading forum for discussion, networking and debate on the status of the Carrier Ethernet industry. With an attendance featuring 70 service provider companies from 50 countries, attendees obtain an in-depth understanding of key global issues and thought leadership from around the world.
