TL9000 Quality Management System
Overture adopted the TL9000 quality management system standard in 2007. Starting with the merger with Hatteras in 2011, Overture embraced the system and continues to build on the earlier work, having successfully been certified as Overture in 2012.
The TL 9000 quality management system was developed by QuEST Forum, a collaboration of information and communication technologies service providers and suppliers throughout the world that are dedicated to improving operational and supply chain quality and performance. TL9000 specifically addresses the supply chain quality requirements of the worldwide telecommunications industry. Built on ISO 9001 and eight quality principles, TL9000 defines requirements for “design, development, production, delivery, and service. In addition, it specifies measurements for companies to help evaluate the effectiveness of quality implementation and improvement programs.” Learn more about TL9000.
Overture earned the TL9000 harware and software registration on February 16, 2012 and is valid through February 15, 2015.
