The ISG family can deliver Carrier Ethernet over fiber, SONET/SDH, and TDM/PDH, allowing providers to reach almost any customer location. The ISG 6000 and ISG 5100 also act as aggregation systems, providing Ethernet handoffs to upstream core routers and switches.
